![]() Practice Bunker ShotsIf you could spend a day with a Tour Pro, you would watch them practice bunker shots every time they head to the course. This is because you must practice bunker shots in order to put together a good and well rounded game of golf. Without the ability to execute a proper sand shot, the sand traps turn into something that we fear, and can ruin a nice round. Sand shots are very intimidating to most golfers, and in order to execute a proper shot, you must practice bunker shots until you are as comfortable with bunker shots as you are with chip shots. If you don't have the confidence to execute a shot, your chances of success are very low. There are two very common faults in a bunker shot, one; you hit under the ball, and it goes no where, and two; you hit too much ball, and it flies over the green. These are the common faults, but fortunately they can be fixed. They are fixed by practicing. In order to practice bunker shots effectively, you must have club face control which can only be achieved when you master the fundamentals. Mastering the fundamentals is difficult, but can be learned at a golf lesson, or with an effective training aid. A golf lesson with a good teaching pro is worth its weight in gold, and should be the first step for a new golfer. After you have learned what you should do, it is time to learn how to do it, and ingrain it in your mind and body. The Tour Angle 144 golf swing trainer can be used to practice drives, chip shots and to practice bunker shots. Because most of us do not have a teacher to give us feedback every time we hit the range or course, we need to rely on a training aid to give us feedback. The TA144 is able to set you up in the same position every time and practice bunker shots the right way. When you repeat a movement over and over, you build a habit. Bad habits can be hard to break, and they will certainly not be broken after hitting the range for 5 minutes before a round. They must be broken by practicing every day, even if it is for 5 minutes in your living room with the Tour Angle 144.
